Walking Albany: Neighborhood Panoramic Landscapes

Over the holiday weekend we continued the Walking Every Street In Albany project in the neighborhood on the South side of Albany Hill. One technique for walking every street is to pick a small area, and walk the streets up and back as a grid. When the grid is on a hill, you can get a pretty good workout. Another cool thing is that walking projects can take you to interesting places near your house that you didn't know were there. A lot of us pass by the same houses and travel down the same streets every day, often without paying much attention to the details. Slowing down and expanding your travels to new nearby areas can help you see the world with fresh eyes.
